4.4- Transmitter radio transmit power
The transmitter
ISE
can operate with two different radio transmit
powers :
1mW
or
10mW
(selected by cursor No. 7 of transmitter
«CONFIG» DIP switch).
The choice of radio transmit power will depend on the application
in which the
ISIS
product is used.
The transceiver
IST
only works with 10 mW transmission power.
Important:
a transceiver con fi gured with 1mW transmit power
will not work.
1 mW radio transmit power :
(cursor No. 7 set to OFF)
If the range between the
ISIS
transmitter and receiver is
short or if the response time of an output must be fast (less
than 60ms max), it is preferable to select a transmit power of
1 mW.
Reminder:
a transceiver
IST
con fi gured with 1mW transmit
power will not work.
10 mW radio transmit power :
(cursor No. 7 set to ON)
If the range of the
ISIS
transmitter-receiver or between
transceivers
IST
is long, it is preferable to choose a radio
transmit power of 10 mW.
Warning:
the response time of an output with 10 mW mode is
less than 500 ms max.
General remark :
If several radio systems are working in the vicinity of each other,
refer to the «
Product installation safety requirements
» section to
install your system.
