System boots, but reset itself

Example 2: With a system including the Main Board (with CPU and memory) HDD,

CD-ROM, FDD, VGA CARD, LAN CARD, MPEG CARD, SCSI CARD,
SOUND CARD, after assembly  and after having installed the Sound Card
Driver, when you restart the system,  when it runs  the Sound Card Driver,
it resets automatically. This  problem may be due to the Sound Card Driver
or other memory  resident programs  (including virus).  First  get a bootable
floppy  disk and try  to  clean  boot.  If it  boot  up  normally,  try  to  edit the
CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT file for DOS. With a text editor, add
a  remark  REM  in  the  front of the line  that loads  the  driver,  and reboot.
Using this trial and error method, you will eliminated most software errors.
