RAC-100 and 200 User’s Manual
This command instructs the RAC-200
to output data previously stored in
memory. Use the following steps to
output the memory to a printer or com-
puter:
Step 1 Once this command is entered, [bAUD ] is displayed along
with the last baud rate used. Make sure the baud rate you se-
lect is the same as the setup in the serial communications port
in your computer (see the Appendix for more information on
the RAC-200’s RS-232 format). Using the ADD or SUB keys,
you can select the following baud rates: 300, 600, 1200, 2400,
4800, 9600 or 19200 bps. After selecting the baud rate to be
used, press ENTER.
Step 2 [Loc 0] will then be displayed. If you want to output ALL used
memory locations, press ENTER. To start outputting at a cer-
tain memory location other than zero (0), key in the desired
starting location then press ENTER.
Step 3 [CodE 0] will then appear. To output ALL used memory lo-
cations, press ENTER. To output just those locations with a
specific code number, key in the desired code, then press EN-
TER.
Step 4 [dt mm.dd.yy] will then be displayed with the last date used.
You can keep this date the same or key in the current date, press
ENTER.
Step 5 [id ] will appear. If you wish to use an Identification Num-
ber, key it in (6 digits maximum) and press ENTER.
Step 6 The output will then begin and show the Header information,
Memory Locations, Event Codes, Distance, Interval Distance,
Elapsed Time and Speed. At the end of that particular survey,
END SURVEY will be output and the next survey stored in
memory will be output WITHOUT a new header. It will be up
to you to keep records so that you can identify which survey
pertains to a specific route or street and the begin and end ref-
erence points. When all surveys in memory are output, the DMI
will exit the Print function.
