9.5. Smearless mode
This function can be used to reduce the smear coming from bright parts of the object. This is
effective for both EPS and PWC trigger modes. Before the accumulation starts, charge that is
stored in the pixel is dumped by a high-speed transfer. This can reduce the smear at the
upper part of the object but the lower part is unaffected.
At the falling edge of the trigger pulse the high speed transfer starts. This period is 7.08ms
which is 180L. Thereafter the residual charge in the horizontal CCD register is read out in 1L
and the new exposure starts. This function is available for both full scan and partial scan.

9.6. Trigger mask
AT-200CL has a trigger mask function. When this is ON, triggers which are input in shorter
intervals than the minimum interval, are disabled. Refer to each trigger mode for information
about minimum intervals.
