3.1
Charging the battery
It is essential to charge the clipper battery for about 2 hours before using the
clippers for the first time.
Charge the clippers at least once during the year following the date of delivery.
The battery reaches its full capacity after 3 or 4 charging cycles.
For the two charging modes below, exclusively use power pack
ZDJ045100EU (see Fig. 1-H and § 5).
When charging, it is recommended to switch off the clippers (On/Off
button off, Fig. 1-D).
Charging clippers from mains
Insert the electrical lead into the socket of the clippers (Fig. 3a).
Connect the power pack (Fig. 1-H) into a mains power socket.
When charging, the red light (Fig. 1-S) comes on. The battery is fully charged
when the LCD indicates 100. The autonomy time is then 100 minutes.
When completely charged, disconnect the power pack. The clippers can now be
used without power lead.
Charging the battery on the charge stand
Insert the electrical lead into the charge stand socket (Fig. 3b).
Connect the power pack (Fig. 1-H) into a mains power socket.
Put the clippers on the charge stand and proceed as described above.
When completely charged, the clippers can be used without the electrical lead.

To stop the clippers, press the On/Off button again (Fig. 1-D). The button goes
off.
