5. Remove nut (2), flat washer (3), and spring washers
(5 and 6).
6. Remove two screws (7), lock washers (8), and
throttle sensor (9).
7. Remove screw (10), lock washer (11), sensor
magnet (12), shaft (13), and bushing (14) as an
assembly.
8. Remove throttle lever (4).
Installation Notes
• Install throttle lever by reversing the order of removal.
• Apply dielectric grease (Jacobsen PN 365422) to any
wire connectors disconnected.

CAUTION
1. Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-6.)
2. Allow engine to cool completely.

3. Turn fuel shutoff lever (1) to horizontal (off) position.
4. Drain excess fuel from sedimentor by turning valve
(4) counterclockwise.
5. Thoroughly clean cup (2) and area surrounding
sedimentor filter.
6. Remove cup (2) and filter element (3).

Diesel fuel is highly flammable—handle with care.
Use an approved container with a spout that will
fit inside the fuel filler neck. Avoid using
unapproved containers to transport fuel. Keep all
fuel containers clean and closed when not in use.
