AERATOR REMOVAL ______________________________________________________
Remove the tines from the aerator.
Lift the aerator and drive the tractor to an area to store the aerator. Stop the engine and remove the key. Adjust the two
stands
(G)
on the front of the frame so aerator will rest on the stands and the roller.
Completely extend the top link and disconnect the PTO shaft from the tractor.
If the aerator will be removed from the tractor for a short time, assemble the PTO shaft hanger
(H)
in upper hitch mount
holes. Support the PTO shaft using the PTO hanger. When the PTO hanger is not used, store the PTO hanger for
future use.
If the aerator will be put into storage, remove the PTO shaft guard and the PTO shaft. Assemble the PTO lock. Store
the PTO shaft in a horizontal position.
Completely retract the top link. Lower the aerator until it is on the stands and roller.
Disconnect the three hitch pins
(C and D)
from the top link
(F)
and lower arms
(E)
. Start the tractor and drive away from
the aerator. Insert the hitch pins in the aerator three-point hitch for storage.
