Every 100 Hours or Anually

Every 500 Hours or Anually

• Change Engine Pre‐cleaner Element.

• Clean Engine Air Filter Element. (Jackrabbit # 57702)

• Change engine Oil.

• Clean Cooling Areas.

Every 300 Hours

• Replace Engine Air Filter Element (Jackrabbit # 57702).

• Clean Integral Screen Filter located at inlet of carburator.

Every 200 Hours

• Replace Engine Pre‐cleaner Element (Jackrabbit # 57703).

OIL RECOMMENDATIONS

CHECK OIL LEVEL

CHANGE OIL

High‐quality detergent oils (including synthe c) of API 

(American Petroleum Ins tute) service class SJ or higher 

are acceptable.  Select viscosity based on air temperature 

at  me of opera on as shown in table below.

NOTE: To prevent extensive wear or damage, never run 

engine with oil below or above opera ng range indicator 

on dips ck.

Ensure engine is cool. Clean oil fill/dips ck areas of any 

debris.

1. Remove dips ck; wipe oil off.

2. Reinsert dips ck into tube; rest on oil fill neck; turn 

counterclockwise un l cap drops down to lowest point of 

threads; do not thread cap onto tube.

A. Remove dips ck; check oil. Level should be at 

top of indicator on dips ck.

or

B. Remove oil fill plug. Level should be up to point 

of overflowing filler neck.

3. If oil is low, add oil up to point of overflowing filler neck.

4. Reinstall dips ck or oil fill plug and  ghten securely.

Change oil while engine is warm.

1. Clean area around oil fill cap/dips ck and 

OIL DRAIN

2. Remove drain plug and oil fill cap/dips ck. Drain oil 

completely.

3. Reinstall drain plug. Torque to 13  . lb. (17.6 N∙m).

4. Fill crankcase with new oil, up to point of overflowing 

filler neck.

5. Reinstall oil fill cap/dips ck and  ghten securely.

6. Dispose of used oil in accordance with local ordinances.

Annually

• Inspect pump for vane wear.  Faliure to do so can cause 

pump damage.  For further informa on refer to Masport's 

Vacuum/Pressure Pump Operators Manual.
