PRE‐START CHECKLIST
PRE‐START CHECKLIST
1. Check the ENGINE HOUR METER to make sure there is
no maintenance needed (The maintanance schedule is on
page 14).
2. Drain the oil/water mixture from the two ball valves
into a container (shown on figure 11). Recycle or dispose
properly in accordance with your region's regula ons. Be
sure to close the valves when finished. Faliure to drain
tanks daily can cause severe damage to the machine.
5. Check the level of the mineral oil in the MINERAL OIL
TANK . Add mineral oil if low. Do not overfill.
6. Check the level of the oil in the VACUUM PUMP OIL
TANK . Add oil if low. For below freezing temperatures,
use ISO 32 or 46. In above freezing temperatures use ISO
68 or 100. Do not overfill.
7. Check the level of the gasoline in the FUEL TANK . Add
unleaded gasoline if low (87 octane reccomended). Do
not overfill.
8. Pressure regulator above the engine should be dialed
to 2 PSI and should never be tampered with.
9. Check to see if the ENGINE PRE‐CLEANER and the
ENGINE AIR FILTER ELEMENT are clean enough, where it
will not restrict the air flow to the engine. Refer to
maintenance sec on on page 14 and 17 for replacement
guidance.
10. Check to see if PUMP PARTICLE FILTER element is
clean enough where it will not restrict the air flow to the
pump. The loca on for this filter is shown on page 11.
See the maintenance schedule on page 14 and 17 for
replacement guidance.
3. Make a visual inspec on of hoses and wires for any
tears. Torn lines should be serviced or replaced.
4. Check the engine's oil level at the DIPSTICK/OIL FILL
PLUG as shown in figure 10. Add SAE 10W‐30, or 5W‐30 for
temperatures under 0°F, motor oil if low. Do not overfill.
