Safety Instructions
WARNING Read all safety warnings and
all instructions. Failure to follow the
warnings and instructions may result in elec-
tric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
Save all warnings and instructions for future
reference.
Children must not play with plastic bags and
packaging material, due to possible injury or
danger of suffocation. Keep packaging away
from children and pets.
1) PREPARATION
• Keep in mind that the operator or user is
responsible for accidents or hazards oc-
curring to other people or their property.
• This appliance can cause serious injuries.
Read the instructions carefully for the cor-
rect handling, preparation, maintenance,
starting and stopping of the appliance.
Become familiar with all controls and the
proper use of the appliance before at-
tempting to operate the appliance.
• Always check the appliance before use.
• Never operate while people, especially
children, or pets are nearby.
• Dress properly! Do not wear loose cloth-
ing or jewellery and take care of long
hair, they can be sucked into air inlet. Use
safety glasses, when using the appliance
as blower.
• Assemble equipment correctly before use.
• Before connection to the mains, ensure
that the power supply is appropriate for
the appliance and for connected power
tools (see Technical Data).
• Always connect the appliance to a ground-
ed mains socket.
• If operating a power tool in a damp loca-
tion is unavoidable, use a residual current
device (RCD) protected supply. Use of an
RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.
In
case of doubt, consult an electrician.
• If an extension cord is used, the plug and
socket must be of watertight construction.
• Before vacuuming liquids, check, that the
liquid level sensor functions correctly.
The liquid level sensor closes the suc-
tion opening and interrupts the operation,
when vacuumed liquids reach the maxi-
mum level.
2) OPERATION
• This appliance should not be used for any
other purpose than described.
• The appliance may not be used by persons
(including children) who have reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
who are inexperienced or lack the knowl-
edge of how to use the appliance. Children
must be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the appliance.
• Never operate the appliance when you are
tired, ill or under the influence of alcohol,
drugs or medicine.
• Do not switch on the cleaner if it shows
damages like fissures and cracks, if the
power cord is defective or shows fissuring
or ageing, or if an invisible defect is sus-
pected (e.g. after a fall).
• Do not switch on until the complete fil-
ter system has been installed. Otherwise
there is danger to your health.
• Only operate the appliance upright on a
firm, level surface.
• Do not operate the cleaner where there is
danger of explosions.
• The appliance is not suitable for vacuum-
ing health endangering dusts or inflamma-
ble/explosive substances.

Do not vacuum hazardous, toxic or car-
cinogenic materials with workplace
limit values less than 0.1 mg/m

as asbestos or pesticide.

Do not pick up anything hotter than
60 °C, or that is burning or smoking,
such as hot cuttings, hot ashes, match-
es or cigarettes.

Do not use the appliance to vacuum
combustible explosive materials, such
as grain, coal or other finely divided
combustible material.

Never pick up explosive liquids (e.g.
paint thinner, gasoline, diesel fuel,
