3) The lifting line should run from the
termination point on the peak of the crane (at
the large through bolt), through the cut-out on
the underside of the aluminum crane down to
the Harken 308 wire block then back up
through the larger slot on the underside of the
keel crane to the Harken thru-deck block
mounted on the crane and then directly into the
winch.
4) The twist shackle and floating 308 Harken Block should NEVER be used when twisted off center,
as shown below. Instead the lifting line should pass directly through the 308 block sheave which
MUST be aligned fore-aft (aligned with the top of the keel and centerline of the boat).
