- Summer operation (ventilation only): turn the knob to setting
- Heating at reduced power: turn the knob (right) to the setting I (1000W).
- Heating at full power: turn the knob to the setting II (2000W).
- Switching off: turn the knob to the setting O.
- Turn the thermostat switch to the desired temperature position.
- When the room temperature is comfortable for you, turn the thermostat switch slowly anti-
clockwise until the appliance switches off.
- The thermostat switch will automatically maintain the desired room temperature.
- You can also turn the thermostat switch anti-clockwise to the minimum position or turn the
thermostat switch clockwise to the maximum position to increase or decrease the temperature.
Overheating protection
The heater is fitted with a safety device which will switch off the heater in case of
accidental
overheating
(e.g. obstruction of air intake and outlet grilles, motor turning slowly or not at all)
Remove the cause of overheating. A few minutes later the heater will switch on automatically
again. If it still doesn't switch on automatically, please visit an authorized BENRUBI Service
Centre.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Always turn the appliance OFF (O), disconnect it and let it completely cool before any
maintenance.
Clean the outside of the unit with a damp cloth and then dry it with a dry cloth. Never immerse
the unit in water, nor let water drip into the unit.
Frequently use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust on grilles.
Caution:
Never use highly corrosive or abstractive cleaning agents.
Storage
Always disconnect the appliance, let it completely cool and clean it before storing.
If you do not use the appliance for a long period, put back the unit and the instruction manual
to the original carton and store in a dry and ventilated place.
Do not place any heavy items on top of carton during storing as this may damage the
appliance.
