Important Safeguards
Please read these instructions carefully before using the
appliance and save them for future reference. Please keep the
sales receipt for guarantee purposes (pls see below “Guarantee
and Customer Service”)
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should
always be followed in order to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock
and injury to persons or property:
- Before you connect the appliance on the supply mains, check that the
voltage indicated on the data plate of the appliance corresponds to that
of the voltage mains in your home. If this is not the case, do not use
the appliance and contact one of the authorized BENRUBI Service
Centres.
- Always connect your appliance by means of an earthed plug. Non-
compliance with this obligation can cause an electric shock and may
lead to serious injury. It is vital for your own safety that the earthed
socket corresponds to the electrical installation standards in force in
your country. If your household electrical system does not include an
earthed socket, it is vital that you call in an authorized technician
before plugging in the appliance, in order to bring your electrical
system up to standard.
- Caution:
Danger of electric shock exists even when the appliance is
switched off, at OFF (0) position. Always unplug the appliance when
not in use.
- To protect against the risk of electric shock, do not immerse the
appliance in water or any other liquid. The heater should never be
used under conditions where it may be immersed, or come in contact
with water. Similarly do not plug in your heater if its surfaces are wet or
damp.
- Keep the air outlet and inlet grilles clean. Do not insert foreign objects
through the intake or discharge grilles. To clean them firstly switch off
