Scripts
The following scripts are installed on the XRPi2:
Script Description
xrpi2_configure Changes the probe name, IxChariot server IP address, or URL. See
Registering with an IxChariot Server .
xrpi2_info Creates a log file that contains debugging information. The log file is cre-
ated in the current directory. Ixia Support may ask you to run this
script.
xrpi2_upgrade
Performs a system upgrade and downloads latest packages for
IxChariot and Hawkeye integration. See
Upgrading the XRPi2 on
page 11 .
xrpi2_serial Displays XRPi2's serial number.
xrpi2_version
Displays XRPi2's software version number.
ifconfig
Display and configure the network interfaces, including settings such as
MTU, etc.
Changes made using the ifconfig script are not saved, so if you reboot
the XRPi2 after running ifconfig, the interfaces will revert to their ori-
ginal configuration. To permanently change the interface configuration,
use the setup script or the web interface.
