Install Licenses
This topic describes the licensing requirements for the Ixia software applications that use PerfectStorm ONE test ports.
Before Installing Licenses
Before install the licenses, you need to either synchronize the time on the PerfectStorm ONE system (using NTP) or set the system time manually,
as described in
Set the System Time on the previous page
. Time discrepancies detected by the system will invalidate the licenses.
Licensing Requirements
The following table summarizes the software licensing requirements for the PerfectStorm ONE appliance:

IxLoad and IxOS License Installation
You use the Ixia Licensing Utility (ILU) to install and manage IxOS and IxLoad licenses. (The ILU is automatically installed and run when you
install licensed Ixia products. It is located on the IxOS virtual machine.)
