Rechargeable LED hand lamp PL-830
Intended use
This handlamp is designed for portable illumination for in- and outdoor.
Any other use than those described above can damage the product. Moreover, this can involve hazards such as short-
circuit, fire, electric shock, etc. No part of the product may be modified or rebuilt!
Delivery content:
Rechargeable LED hand lamp PL-830, charging base, power supply, 12 V- charging cable, shoulder
strap and operating instructions.
Safety Instructions!!
Please read all the instructions before using this device, they include important information on its correct
operation. In cases of damage incurred by disregarding this instruction manual, the warranty is void. We do not
accept any liability for any damage in consequence!
We do not accept liability for any damage to property or personal injury caused by improper handling or non-
compliance with the safety instructions! Any warranty claim will be void in this case.
•
For safety and licensing (CE) reasons, unauthorised conversion and/or modifications to the product are not
permitted.
•
The product complies with the requirements of protection class IP 67 (water-proof). This is why you should
never open the housing yourself, as this protection may no longer be guaranteed.
•
To avoid eye injuries, do not look at the light source or point the light at persons or animals.
•
The product should be kept out of the reach of children! There is a risk for a fatal electric shock.
•
Do not carelessly leave the packaging material lying around since this may become a dangerous toy for
children.
•
The product shall not be operated under adverse circumstances such as: Temperatures above 50°C,
inflammable gas, solvents, vapors, dust, humidity over 80% rel. or water.
•
If there can be assumed that operation of the unit under safe circumstances is no longer possible, unplug the
unit immediately and make sure that it not put into operation inadvertently. Operating the unit becomes unsafe
when the unit does not show any signs of working or has been visibly damaged, when damage has occurred
during transport of after storing the unit under unfavorable circumstances.
•
Service and repairs must be conducted by authorized personnel only.
Areas of application:
This handy, waterproof (IP 67) LED lamp is ideal for a wide range of applications indoors and
outdoors, e.g. for leisure, hobby and work. The five different switch modes make this lamp an especially user-friendly
companion.
The high-performance li-ion battery provides light for around 5 hours at full power and also keeps the weight of the lamp
low. The charging unit ensures reliable charging and practical storage of the lamp.
With the aid of the LED display you can always see the current remaining capacity of the battery and the charging status of
the lamp.

Important instructions for the Li-ion battery!
•
Charge the Li-Ion battery only with the supplied accessory (charging base and power supply)!
•
Recharge the battery completely before the initial use and after a long time of storage!
•
A Li-ion battery reaches its full capacity only after 4-5 charging/discharging cycles.
•
Charge the battery always at room temperature (10°- 30°C).
•
Protect the battery against severe cold, heat and direct sunlight. Explosion hazard in extreme cases.
•
Strictly protect the battery against damage or short-circuit. Fire and explosion hazard!
•
A Li-ion battery has no memory effect. I.e., the battery must not be discharged completely before charging.
•
For storing the hand lamp, the battery should be discharged to approx. 70% of its total capacity. Then recharge
the battery every 6 months.
Emergency light function:
In case of power failure, the hand lamp switches on automatically if it is connected to the
mains and switched on. If voltage is re-applied, the hand lamp switches off automatically.
Simulation of the emergency light function:
Disconnect the plug-in power supply unit from the socket -> the hand lamp switches on automatically.
Charging the battery:
1.
Connect the power pack or the 12 V charging cable with the charger.
2.
Connect the power pack with a 230 V mains socket.
3.
Slide the hand lamp into the charger.
4.
The charging process is completed when the LED “FULL“ display is on.

This lamp contains a Li-Ion rechargeable battery. Used and/or defective batteries must be
disposed of as special waste.
Environmental protection information
When no longer in use, this product may not be deposited in the normal household waste but
should be brought to a collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic appliances. A
symbol on the product, the operating instructions or the packaging draws attention to this.
The materials are recyclable as marked. By re-use, recycling or another form of using old
appliances you are making an important contribution towards the protection of the environment.
Please ask your local authorities for the appropriate disposal point.
