1. Overview
The purpose of this manual is to provide the necessary information for proper installation, operation and maintenance of the Depurbox
BASE, MAXI, DUO series of biological activated sludge treatment stations.
The contents of this manual concern the standard product, as described in the sale documents. Any special versions will be supplied with
supplementary instruction sheets. Please refer to the sales contract for the features of variants and special versions. Always specify the exact
type and code when requesting our Sales and Service Department for technical information or spare parts. For any instructions, situations
and events not covered in this manual or in the sales documentation, please contact the nearest Technical Assistance Centre.
Read this manual carefully before installing and using the product.
Improper use may cause personal injury and/or damage to property, and invalidate the warranty.
Refer to the specific manuals for information concerning the electric pumps and electrical panels.
2. Product
description
Information for installers and users
The Depurbox treatment station is an activated sludge total oxidation treatment system comprising containers in glass-reinforced plastic,
piping and unions in PVC – cast iron – galvanised steel, a stainless steel electric pump and a 24H programmable timer.
The use of glass-reinforced plastic assures corrosion-resistance, waterproofness and non-deformability without making the system too
heavy.
The range comprises a BASE version for users with up to five equivalent inhabitants, a MAXI version for users with up to ten equivalent
inhabitants and a DUO version for users with up to twenty equivalent inhabitants.

3. Applications Information for installers and users
For the Italian market
Current legislation does not allow the discharge of substances that can absorb the free oxygen present in waterways and create
unfavourable conditions for the local flora and fauna.
Consequently, a wastewater treatment system is necessary.
3.1 Working
Limits
3.1.1 How to read the product rating plate
Explanations of the essential data indicated on the rating plates can be found in the drawings in section 10.2.
3.1.2 Admissible
liquids
Domestic wastewater can enter the treatment station.
Do not discharge industrial wastewater into the treatment station.
Do not discharge rainwater into the treatment station.
Make sure the quantities of the substances in the wastewater do not exceed those indicated in the following
table.
