Place the wrist strap with the WatchPAT™ device on the non-dominant arm and
close it snugly but not tightly. Ensure that the end connected to the finger probe
towards the fingers. You may find it convenient to place the wrist strap with the
WatchPAT™ device face down on the table and then place the back of the wrist
over the wrist strap in order to fasten the straps (Figure 21).

At this point the uPAT probe is hanging loose.

Proper probe placement is critical for good performance.
