10. Tighten all screw connections(in case of flange con-
nection tighten nuts crosswise).
a) Wall mounted measurement electronics
(optional)
1.
Pull the measurement electronics up and off the brack-
et.
2.
Unscrew the attachment with a screw driver.
3.
Prior to drilling, check that there are no electricity ca-
bles, gas or water pipes below the surface at the instal-
lation site.
4.
Drill hole into the wall (6 mm).
5.
Insert dowels.
6.
Attach the mounting plate to the wall.
7.
Fix the measurement electronics onto the mounting
plate from above.
Commissioning
1.
Open the shut-off valves in front and behind the instal-
lation site.
2.
Test heating system for leaks and bleed carefully.
►
The flow sensor begins to operate after 100 s at
the latest. If the operating limit has been exceed-
ed and the flow rate is positive, volume pulses are
generated according to the device parameterisa-
tion.
3.
Check the measuring values for the flow on the con-
nected counter for plausibility.
4.
Remove air from the system until the flow indication is
stable.
5.
Attach seals to the threaded connections.
Exchange
1.
Note the direction of flow and compare with the arrow
on the meter.
2.
Close the shut-off devices in front and behind the in-
stallation site.
3.
Remove the seals.
4.
If necessary remove the measurement electronics
from the wall.
5.
Slowly open threaded fittings as there could still be
pressure on the line (e.g. shut-off valve no longer clos-
es correctly).
6.
Dismount meter.
7.
Remove seals.
8.
To continue, see "Installation" as of step 5
Reading
You have the option to read the ultego III flow sensor via a
connected counter. For the exact procedure, please refer
to the documentation of the counter.
