923 milliK manual - issue: 1.10
reported value is in °C. If the specified channel does not exist, the milliK returns “channel not
found”.
Example: to measure the temperature of channel 1’s thermocouple reference junction use:
MEAS:RJC? 1
8.6.23
Command MONitor<channel#>?
Format: MONitor<channel#>?
<timeout>
Reports the next measurement (including units) made on <channel#> within the specified
<timeout>, in seconds. If a measurement is not made within the specified timeout, the milliK
reports “Timeout”. If the milliK detects that the channel is not enabled, it reports “Channel
Not Enabled”. The milliK reports the value followed by the units (separated by a comma):
Where units
= R
(for ohms)
=mV
(for milli-volts)
= K
(for Kelvin)
= C
(for °C)
= F
(for °F)
Example: if channel 2 is configured to measure temperature in °C, a typical response to
MON2? 5
would be “1.23456,C”.
8.6.24
Command CALibrate:UNLock
Format: CALibrate:UNLock
<password>
Unlocks the milliK to allow calibration adjustment. The milliK always powers up in the
locked state. Calibration can be re-locked by cycling the power to the milliK or using
CAL:LOCK
(see section 8.6.25).
Example: to unlock (enable) the calibration adjustment on a milliK with the default password
(“1234”), use:
CAL:UNL 1234
8.6.25
Command CALibrate:LOCK
Format: CALibrate:LOCK
Locks the milliK to prevent calibration adjustment.
