6. TROUBLESHOOTING
Phenomenon
Situation of Trouble
Presumed Cause
“AdErr” appears on the display. The AD converter operation is
abnormal.

The load cell output voltage
is abnormal. (Zero point shift,
etc.)
•
Defective soldering or
disconnection of the load cell
cable
•
Defect of the main board
The machine does not start
with the display all blinking.
The scale is outside the start
range.
•
Something is put on the
weigh platter.
•
The weigh platter is not
placed.
E2ROM data is abnormal.
Or, it is initialized.

E2ROM is defective.
•
E2ROM was cleared.
Test mode starts without trying.
The “1” key is being entered.

The key substrate is not
properly installed.
•
A key is defective.
•
The main board is defective.
“OL” appears on the display.
Or, the display is blank.
Weighing capacity is exceeded.
•
The weighing item is more
than the capacity.
“- - - - - -” appears on the price
display.
The price has overflowed.
•
The price is exceeding
“999999”.
Adding numeric values is not
possible.
The added price has
overflowed.
•
If the next addition is
performed, the total price will
exceed “999999”.
An error buzzer sounds when
the tare weight is entered, and
operation is not accepted.
The tare weight that is not able
to be set was entered.

Data outside the tare setting
range was entered.
•
The last digit number is not
matched with the minimum
weight.
Unit price and the price
displays disappear without
trying.
Auto power save function has
operated.

The machine is set to allow

The power supply is turned off

All “LLLL...” appear on the
display.
It is an alarm display that the
battery voltage decreases, and
