ABOUT THIS MANUAL

This manual describes IGEP

™

RADAR SENSOR ORION hardware features. IGEP

™

RADAR SENSOR

ORION is an IGEP™ technology device from ISEE 2007, S.L. You can find additional information
at our website

www.iseebcn.com

The first 4 chapters describe general features of the radar sensor board. Chapter 5 describes
on-board interfaces while chapter 6 focuses on expansion connectors for processor boards.
Chapter 7 gives the technical specifications and final sections 8 and 9 explain basic concepts to
start radar operation and understand radar signal theory.

At the end of this document you will find a list of tables, figures and change log.

The IGEP

™

RADAR SENSOR ORION is a fully tested, highly reliable, scalable, efficient and high

performing board that allows customers to focus on their end application. It’s designed for
industrial and commercial purposes. With its ultra compact design and extended temperature
range it’s adaptable to any custom or commercial processor board.

IGEP

™

RADAR SENSOR ORION can be used as a standalone sensor without the need of a

sophisticated baseboard or also you can choice to use any of our compatible processor boards
to control, capture and process data.

The IGEP

™

RADAR SENSOR ORION is based on an exclusive microwave design property of ISEE

2007, S.L. Our business model offers the possibility to develop specific designs adapted to your
application. Please contact

The PLL based ramp generation gives you the possibility to apply highly linear frequency
modulations, and control with precision and stability the working frequency. The integration of
a complete set of IF amplifier and filter stages plus AGC and expansion connectors to make
possible to use commercial processor boards, offers you a very complete solution.
