Assembly Instructions

CAUTION

Tank assembly is very heavy and can be damaged if mishandled. To prevent personal injury, use two (2)
people or a lifting device when handling the tank assembly.

NOTE:

As a precaution, block wheels to prevent movement of log splitter while torqueing lug nuts.

Step 1 – Wheels to Hub



Slide tire onto axle with valve stem facing out.



Thread nuts onto axle until hand tight. Tighten the lug nuts in stages.
Follow the sequence listed:



Torque nuts to: 1

Stage: 20-25 ft.-lbs., 2

nd

Stage: 35-40 ft.-lbs., 3

rd

Stage: *60-75 ft.-lbs. * Verify final torque based on wheel type and
wheel manufacture recommendations.



Repeat steps for other side.
