Dual Independent Wipe Tabs Replacement 

 

The dual independent wipe tabs assist in wiping down the top center seam of the case.  While the red wipe 

down rollers perform much of the wipe down, the wipe down tabs enhances the wipe down as it can better 

conform to the irregularities of the top of the case such as over fills, void fills and the “wash-board” effect 

of thinner walled corrugated. 

 

Over time, the tabs can become distorted or worn and should be replaced. 

 

Dual Independent Wipe Tabs Replacement 

 

1.  Remove the M4 nylon lock 

nuts 

(Item #1)

 

2. 

Remove the rectangular 

washer 

(Item #2) 

3. 

Remove the worn wiper tabs 

and replace them with new 

ones.

 

4. 

Fasten to the M4 PEM studs 

the washer and nylon lock 

nuts as they were at the 

beginning.

Pay attention to the 

orientation, remove the 

peelable label from the wipe 

tabs. (Some may find it easier 

to remove the bracket and do 

the change off the tape
