ChECKING OIL LEVEL AND
OIL ChANGE
Before starting up, always
check the level of oil in the
explosion engine by removing
the cap with the dip stick
(fig. 22).
To avoid damaging the engine,
run it only:
- if the level of oil is between
the “Min” and “Max” marks on
the oil dip stick;
- if the oil cap has first been
locked onto the oil pipe.
Never fill with oil to
above the “Max” mark on the
dip stick.
Changing the oil
:
Change the oil after the first two
hours of operation and then
after every 2 hours or more
often if the engine has been
running in especially harmful
conditions or in particularly
dusty atmospheres.
Use high quality clean
SAE 10W-0 general purpose
detergent oil, class API-SF or
SG.
For more detailed information,
consult the instruction manual
supplied with the engine.
Disconnect the high
voltage spark plug cable
before changing the engine
oil.
For instructions on how to
change the oil, consult the
instruction manual supplied
with the engine.
Spent oil must be
disposed of in an authorised
collection centre.
AIR FILTER
Check the state of the filter cartridge after every 10 hours of
operation. Replace the filter element after every 0 hours of
operation or more frequently if necessary.
For instructions on how to check and replace the air filter, consult
the instruction manual supplied with the engine.
SPARK PLUG
Check the state of the spark plug each year or after every 100
hours of operation. Replace the spark plug if the electrodes are
pitted or burnt or if the porcelain is damaged. The spark plug
should always be replaced after 00 hours of operation.
For instructions on how to check and replace the spark plug,
consult the instruction manual supplied with the engine.

FIG. 22
FAN BELT
Check fan belt wear and ten
-
sion regularly. (fig. 2).
FIG. 2
ChANGING ThE NOZZLE
The high pressure nozzle fitted on the lance must be
changed from time to time, as this component is subject to
normal wear during use. Wear may generally be detected
by a drop in the working pressure of the cleaner. To replace
it, consult your supplier and/or dealer for instructions.
DESCALING
Descaling must be carried out from time to time because the
scale present in the water partially deposits inside the hydraulic
circuit and the coil which with time becomes clogged.
Apply to our technical service centre to have the machine
descaled from time to time; this will save you money and
increase the efficiency of the cleaner.
