3.3 Connections in the
„DMX“ mode:
DMX is the abbreviation for Digital Multiplex and enables the digital control of several DMX devices via a common
control line.
Connect the DMX input of the device to the DMX output of a DMX controller or another DMX device. Connect the
output of the first DMX device to the input of the second and so on to form a series connection.
DMX In
For systems with very long DMX cable runs or high electrical interference, such as in a discotheque, it is
recommended to use a DMX terminator. The DMX terminating resistor is implemented in an XLR connector as a 120
Ω resistor between pin 2 and 3, which is plugged into the last output socket of the DMX line.

Verbindungen in der Betriebsart „Master/Slave“:
If you configure a group of devices in "Master / Slave" mode, the first device controls the others and enables an
automatic or music-controlled and synchronized show. This function is particularly useful for starting a show without
much programming effort. Connect the DMX output of the master device to the DMX input of the first slave device.
Then connect the DMX output of the first slave device to the DMX input of the second slave device and so on.
