Anti-tip Devices

Height  adjustable  Anti-tip  devices  are  supplied
as

standard

with

the

Invicta

Powered

Wheelchair.
For normal use, it is recommended that the Anti-
tip devices are set to the highest position, Fig.37.
This  will  give  a  ground  clearance  between  the
jockey wheel and the floor of 40mm. In turn, this
will  allow  the  wheelchair  to  be  able  to  climb  an
obstacle of up to 50mm.
To alter the Anti-tip height, pull the Spring-loaded
Locking  Pin  rearwards  to  disengage  the  Anti-tip
Stem.  Re-set  to  required  height  and  re-engage
Locking Pin.

Retaining Lap-Belt

The standard Lap Belt supplied with the Invicta

is the RMS PB002 with single “Pull

-

tight” plastic

buckle.
Separate  the  Belt  at  the  main  buckle  by
depressing the locking tongue, Fig.438.
With the User seated, route each end of the Lap

Belt up and over the User’s hips and round to the

front  of  the  User,  connecting  the  main  buckle  in
the centre of their lap.

Adjustment  is  made  by  pulling  the  “free

-

end”

through the buckle to the required position.
Overall belt length can be adjusted at the Tri-slot
mountings located at each end of the Belt where
they are attached to the Seat frame.
NOTE:  If  it  becomes  necessary  to  change  the
Backrest  angle,  it  may  also  be  necessary  to  re-position  the  Lap  Belt  Mountings,
utilising an alternative vacant hole on the Backrest Connecting Bracket. Fig.18
