Roll the wheelchair before using to make sure there is no
excessive drag to either side.
4.15 Adjusting Wheelbase Width
–
Perform this procedure on one side of the wheelchair
at a time for ease of adjustment.
Camber Tube with Single Camber
–
The wheelbase width can be increased/decreased by
1-inch (2.54 cm).
1.
Remove the rear wheels.
2.
Torque the axle nut

to increase/decrease the wheelbase width.

Count the number of threads

showing on the axle bolt

should be equal on both sides of the
wheelchair. Otherwise, wheelchair performance
may be affected.
