indicating if the grab bar is installed correctly and stable.

If one or both indicators display in red, the suction grab
bar is not safely installed and must be repositioned.

Make sure that the indicators on the suction grab bar
both display in green before using the product.
Observe Warning label regarding the indicators:
Red hand: Do not use the product when one
or both indicators display in “red”.
Green check: Only use the product when
both indicators display in “green”.
3.2 Using the suction grab bar
As the following safety information does not encompass all possible
circumstances, it is up to the user in the individual case to check
before use whether the suction grab bar is suitable for the intended
application, under the existing conditions.

If the suction grab bar is used for any purpose other than
that intended, e.g. as a sports device for “chin-ups” or as
a climbing aid, it can suddenly become detached.

Grip the handle of the suction grab bar with one hand and carry
out the desired body movement.
4 Maintenance
4.1 Maintenance and periodic inspection
The product is maintenance-free, provided the cleaning and safety
instructions outlined in this user manual are adhered to.

Before every use, check the product for damage and
ensure that it is securely assembled.
4.2 Cleaning and disinfection
IMPORTANT!
All cleaning agents and disinfectants used must be
effective, compatible with one another and must
protect the materials they are used to clean. For
further information on decontamination in Health Care
Environments, please refer to ‘The National Institute
for Clinical Excellence’ guidelines on Infection Control
www.nice.org.uk/CG139 and your local infection control
policy.

Clean by hand.

Do not use any aggressive (pH value under 4.5 or over
8.5) or abrasive cleaning agents.

Max. cleaning temperature 30 °C.
The product can be cleaned and disinfected using
commercially available agents.

surfaces with disinfectant.
4.3 Re-use
The product is suitable for repeated use. The number of times it can
be used depends on how often and in which way the product is used.

Die Saugerhandgriffe wurden zur Unterstützung der natürlichen
Bewegung konzipiert und nicht um das komplette Körpergewicht des
Nutzers zu tragen. Sie sind für den kurzfristigen Einsatz (z.B. auf Reisen
oder als temporäre Versorgung nach einem Krankenhausaufenthalt)
bestimmt. Jede weitere Verwendung ist nicht erlaubt.
