4.3 Adjusting the shape — Tension
adjustable backrest
The shape of the tension adjustable backrest can be adjusted
with the velcro® straps. For example the straps in the
lumbar region could be tightened to provide a good support
to the sway-back and enable a more upright sitting position.
1. Fold the backrest cover away from the velcro® backrest.

to the desired shape.
The user must be seated in the wheelchair in order to
adjust the backrest to satisfy the users need concerning
support and comfort.
3. Fixate the lowest velcro® strap in the backrest brackets

after
adjustment. This fixates the velcro® backrest.
4. Fold back the backrest cover and attach the cover with the
velcro® strap.
4.4 Adjusting the backrest angle

Always make sure that the backrest is securely locked
in its position.
4.4.1 Fixed backrest

Loosen the screw

on the inside of the backrest attachment.

on the outside of the backrest attachment.

Turn the dial C to adjust the angle.
The angle can be adjusted 6˚ forward and 13˚ backward.
4. Tighten the screws again.
5. Repeat the procedure on the opposite side.
