Removing the Lumbar Strap

Remove the back upholstery cover

Fold back forward. Refer to 4.3 Unfolding/Folding the Back, page
31.

Loosen the top mounting screw

but DO NOT remove (Detail

“E”).

Remove the lower mounting screw, coved spacer, washer and
locknut

from each back cane

(Detail “E”).

Slide lumbar strap

off back canes

(Details “D” and “E”).

Installing the Lumbar Strap

Install lumbar strap

(Details “D” and “E”).

Install lower mounting screw, coved spacer, washer and locknut

onto each back cane

(Detail “E”).

Tighten the top

and bottom mounting screws

(Detail “E”).

Return back to upright position. Refer to 4.3 Unfolding/Folding
the Back, page 31.

Install the back upholstery.
