Command Console Screen

3. At the prompt, type

TFTP SERVER START

to start the TFTP server.

4. Use TFTP to copy the files listed in the table on the previous page to the access

point. Type:

TFTP -I

IPaddress

PUT

pathname

filename

SEGMENT

number

where:

IPaddress

is the temporary IP address that you entered in Step 5.

pathname

is the location of the file on your PC.

filename

is the name of the file.

number

is the file segment in the access point where this file is to be
loaded. For the 2101, 2100, and 2102, you load
UAPBOOT.DNL in 1 and all the other files in 3.

For the 2106, you load all the files in 1.

Now, you can use the Web browser interface to upgrade the access point. For help, see
“Upgrading the 21XX” in the next section.
