Configuring the Spanning Tree

To use IP tunnel frame type filters

1. From the main menu, click IP Tunnels and then click Tunnel Filters.

2. Click Frame Type Filters. The Frame Type Filters screen appears.

3. In each frame type field, click the down arrow on the right side of the Action field

and set the action to Pass or Drop.

In each frame type field, click the down arrow on the right side of the Scope field
and set the scope to Unlisted or All.

For help, see the next table.

4. Click Submit Changes to save your changes. To activate your changes, from the

menu bar click Save/Discard Changes and then click Save Changes and Reboot. For
help, see “Saving Configuration Changes” in Chapter 1.

5. If you set the Scope field to Unlisted for any of the frame types, you must also

configure predefined subtype filters or customizable subtype filters. For help, see
“Using Predefined Subtype Filters” or “Customizing Subtype Filters” later in this
section.
