Format Conventions for Input From a Keyboard or Keypad
This table describes the formatting conventions for input from host PC keyboards:
Convention How to Interpret the Convention
Special text
Shows the command as you should enter it into the device.
Italic text Indicates a variable that you must replace with a value.
Bold text Indicates the keys you must press on a PC keyboard. For example,
“press
Enter ” means you press the key labeled “Enter” on the PC
keyboard.
where This word introduces a list of parameters and explains the values
you can specify for them.
