Information on parameterization
Please keep the following in mind during parameterization:
1. Interflex calls the software for configuration and indication of device functions "OC Task", the commands
"Commands".
2. A connection to OC Task is possible:
a. via the network, via TELNET or SSH connection and the factory-set IP address (see device label) or via the
IP address 172.18.70.52, which can be set with the Restart push-button

b. via the RS232 service interface, e.g. with a PC and the communication software Hyper-Terminal. You can
find information about the connection in chapter >Connection of the Service Interface<.
3. OC-Task can be accessed after logging in with
root
and entering a password.
4. The prompt
root@
signalizes readiness to receive commands and data.
5. The following input syntax must be observed:
- Commands are written with small letters.
- Options are separated from the command by a blank (space bar) and a minus sign.
- The command
-?
displays an overview of possible options.
- Press ENTER to confirm your command and optional data.
6. To save new data, you must confirm the prompt
Write to EEPROM (y/n) ?
with the
y
key.
7. Changed data become effective only after a "RESET" with the command $ oc –s.
8. TELNET and SSH connections must be properly terminated after the configuration.
Point 3: Establish a TELNET Connection
An initial TELNET connection is usually established via the factory-set IP address. You can find the address on the
housing lid. To perform the configuration, you must first log in.
Login
Access to the console and Linux commands is granted after a login with
root
and entry of the password
Haydnstr
(observe correct spelling).
The prompt
"root@"
signalizes readiness to receive commands and data.
