Information on parameterization

Please keep the following in mind during parameterization:

1.  Interflex calls the software for configuration and indication of device functions "OC Task", the commands

"Commands".

2.  A connection to OC Task is possible:

a.  via the network, via TELNET or SSH connection and the factory-set IP address (see device label) or via the

IP address 172.18.70.52, which can be set with the Restart push-button

1

.

b.  via the RS232 service interface, e.g. with a PC and the communication software Hyper-Terminal. You can

find information about the connection in chapter >Connection of the Service Interface<.

3.  OC-Task can be accessed after logging in with

root

 and entering a password.

4.  The prompt

root@

signalizes readiness to receive commands and data.

5.  The following input syntax must be observed:

-  Commands are written with small letters.
-  Options are separated from the command by a blank (space bar) and a minus sign.
-  The command

-?

displays an overview of possible options.

-  Press ENTER to confirm your command and optional data.

6.  To save new data, you must confirm the prompt

Write to EEPROM (y/n) ?

with the

y

 key.

7.  Changed data become effective only after a "RESET" with the command $ oc –s.
8.  TELNET and SSH connections must be properly terminated after the configuration.

Point 3: Establish a TELNET Connection

An initial TELNET connection is usually established via the factory-set IP address. You can find the address on the
housing lid. To perform the configuration, you must first log in.

Access  to the console and Linux commands is granted after a login with

root

  and entry of the password

Haydnstr

 (observe correct spelling).

The prompt

"root@"

signalizes readiness to receive commands and data.
