2. Insertion of batteries
Pay attention: During insertion comply with the correct polarity! Insert only rechargeable
batteries (NiMH or NiCd) into the charger! Absolutely respect the other security indications of
this manual as well!
Always insert 2 or 4 batteries into the charging slots. Two batteries can only be introduced in
pairs into the device on its left or right side. Always insert only pairs of the same battery type
(NiMH/NiCd) and of the same size (AAA - HR03/KR03 | AA - HR6/KR6) as well as of the same
capacity (mAh). The pairs can be different on both sides as long as every pair is uniform.
3. Charging inserted batteries/status LED
To start the charging procedure, now insert the charger into a well accessible socket.
The status LED of the respectively used side should now light up continuously in red. This shows
a running charging process.
If the batteries of one side are completely charge, the red LED goes out, and the red and green
LED light up continuously. If all inserted batteries are completely charged, disconnect the device
from the socket and remove the batteries from the charger.
If the status LED of one side lights up red or there are no lit LEDs, there is an error. Please
disconnect the device immediately from the socket and comply with the indications concerning
troubleshooting included in these instructions.
4. Charging times
The following charging times represent merely points of reference, depending from the battery
status and other factors:
