Appendix A - Quick Setup Guide
Step 4 - Turning on Camera 1 with an SMS Command:
Wait 10 seconds for the Flashback DVR to boot, and the monitor will display a solid
color
OR
quad-screen, depending on the Flashback DVR settings. Now send the
“SET R1 : 60 S” command, and Camera 1 will turn on for 60 seconds. The monitor
will display the video from Camera 1.
Step 5 - Turning on Camera 1 with a Sensor:
Wait 60 seconds for Camera 1 to turn off. Now send the “SET TRIGGERS : ARM”
command. Wait to receive a Settings SMS. Now activate any sensor with an ID#
1, and Camera 1 will turn on for 60 seconds (default.)
Step 6 - Changing the Trigger 1 Settings:
Wait 60 seconds for Camera 1 to turn off. Now send the “SET T1 : R1 20 M”
command. This will turn Relay/Camera 1 on for 20 minutes when Trigger 1 (Sensor
ID#1) is activated. Wait to receive a “>T1” SMS. Now activate any sensor with an
ID# 1, and Camera 1 will turn on for 20 minutes.
Step 7 - Viewing Live Streaming Video:
WARNING:
To view live streaming video,
a static IP SIM card must be installed in the Flashback Modem
AND
the APN must be set in the Flashback DVR settings!
Wait 90 seconds for the Flashback Modem to connect to the network. Now navigate
to the static IP address of the SIM card.
