Polling
After the System X4 PRO exits the Setup Mode,
the modem will wake up at a given interval
to check for new SMS commands.
Setup Mode:
For fifteen minutes after connecting the battery, the System X4 PRO will be in the
Setup Mode, as indicated on the last line of the Settings SMS. The modem will stay
on the entire fifteen minutes to receive SMS commands.
Polling:
After fifteen minutes the System X4 PRO modem will go to sleep.
WARNING:
After fifteen minutes, the System X4 PRO will automatically
send a Settings SMS to notify the end of the Setup Mode!
When the System X4 PRO modem goes to sleep there is no connection to the cell
network. The modem will only connect to the cell network when there is an
alarm/trigger or when it reaches the next polling interval. Each connection to the
cell network will last for two minutes; unless a new SMS command is received, and
then the two minutes will reset.
