Saving
The System X4 PRO has an option to
save all of the settings to memory,
and to clear all of the settings from memory.
Saving:
In the default mode, the System X4 PRO does
NOT
save any of the settings
(including the ADMIN and PHONEBOOK numbers.) The saving feature can be
turned on with the “SET SAVE : ON” command, at which time all of the current
settings (including the ADMIN and PHONEBOOK numbers) will be saved to memory.
Turning the saving feature off with the “SET SAVE : OFF” command will
NOT
clear
the memory, it will only prevent new settings from being saved. The memory will
remain even after the power is removed removed from the modem. There are two
ways to clear the settings (including the ADMIN and PHONEBOOK numbers) from
the memory. The first way is to send the “SET SAVE : CLEAR ####” command,
replacing the “####” with the last four digits of the administrator number. The
second way is to apply power to the modem while holding the
BLUE RESET BUTTON
on the top of the modem. (See Page 07 for more information on the

Note:

If there are settings (including the ADMIN and PHONEBOOK numbers) saved
to the memory, when the power is reapplied to the modem multiple SMS
messages will be sent to confirm all of the settings.
