BlastMate III Operator Manual
The monitor powers up the sensors and displays the average and maximum difference read from
the sensors. This allows you to test the sensor by stimulating it (i.e., shaking a transducer or
blowing into a microphone) and observing the response.
4.3. Record Mode Key
The Record
Mode
key sets the sample rate, and channel range.
4.3.1. Sample Rate
The BlastMate III offers a number of sample rates in the advanced mode including 512, 1024,
2048, 4096, 8192, 16384 samples per second (32768 and 65536 optional). When displaying
sample rates, the monitor displays only those sample rates available with the current channel
configuration. Histogram record mode supports the 1024, 2048 and 4096 sample rates only (the
4096 sample rate can only be used with a maximum of four enabled channels). The following
table summarizes the sample rates and the channels that may be used. Note that some sample rates
operate on specific channels only.
