Appendix G – PSTN Modem Setting

Follow the Steps :
2. Select the Internet Connection for Networking
3. Select the manual connection while in preparation.
Click Next button
4. Select telephone MODEM for the Internet connection.
Click Next button
5. Name setting for the connection. Click
Next button
6. Enter telephone number connected to DVR.
Click Next button
7. User ID is ppp and no password for the Internet account user.

The following option can be set with your own discretion. Click
Next button
8. Connection Wizard completes. Click
Finish button
9. Click the short cut DVR of desktop.
Do not save User ID and Password for other user.
Enter the password (
pppsetup ) on each connection.
10. Set Run Script to “ Generic Login ” in Security Tab in
DVR Property DVR Property
11. After step 10, type in ID : ppp/ Password : pppsetup
to connect to DVR. If you set Modem’s setting correctly
and get only dialing tone then you will see the following
picture. The DVR is receive-mode now.
12. Check if connection to DVR is ok
