2.7  LPS1000 Installation and Configuration 

The LPS1000 may power up to five PD.    Proprietary PD supporting Ethernet cable pin 

configuration of 4, 5 positive and 7, 8 negative will work with the LPS1000.    Popular brands of 

IP physical security and IT networking equipment using proprietary 12VDC, 24VDC, and 

48VDC are highly compatible.    Check with the PD documentation for compatibility with the 

LPS1000. 

 

 

To connect powered devices like PoE enabled IP video camera and wireless bridges to the 

LPS1000, follow the power device manufacturer’s voltage and current recommendation.   

Using the wrong voltage to power your device will render your device inoperable.   

The 

LPS1000 System Includes Conduit Piping and Plain Cable weatherproof Connector Kit.   

Here are few 

simple steps to follow for your PD to work properly with the LPS1000.
