Belt tension adjustment

Appropriate belt tension is one of conditions for optimal operating of

the machine and for long lasting of the belts them selves. This flail mower
is equipped with automatic belt tensioner for this reason.

Tension the belts only when tractor is disconnected and star-
ting key taken out.

Appropriate belt tension is achieved when the automatic belt
tensioner is at

22°

.

The angle is determined with the posi-

tion of the indicator on the automatic belt tensioner.

Before operating always check the PTO rotation speed of the
tractor and the gearbox speed. The number of rotation can be
changed with the changing the positions of the pulleys. FIG.17
