Installation and Operation Manual

Work Ports
A maximum of four ports can be aggregated at the same time. If the number of ports configured to 
be part of a LACP static trunking group exceeds the maximum number, the excess ports are moved 
to to standby state and would be able to join the trunking group,  if any of the working ports in the 
group fails. If local static trunking group is used then the number of group member ports must be 
as same as the work ports.

1. Select the ports to join the trunking group by selecting the ports from the ports list. A 

maximum of  four ports can be aggregated at the same time.

2. If LACP is enabled, you can configure LACP Active/Passive status in each port on State 

Activity page. 

3. To complete the LACP configuration, click the

 Apply 

button.

Trunking Configuration 

The Aggregator Information tab at the Trunking web page displays the current LACP status. If 
LACP is enabled, the group is LACP static trunking group. Otherwise,  the group is Local static 
trunking group. The following are the various scenarios of LACP status:

Scenario 1: LACP is disabled and there are no active links.

 

Scenario 2: LACP Enabled with no active links
