12.3. Entering the patient identifier
The patient identifier can be entered by touching the field labelled “Patient ID”, similarly as
in the case of editing the name. After finishing the entry, by pressing the
Ok
button, the field
for editing patient gender (male/female) becomes active.
12.4. Guided parameter entry
The device will ask for related parameters to be entered as a part of a single process.
After entering the patient identifier, pressing the
Ok
button activates the gender selection
field, where the gender of the patient can be selected by pressing the appropriate button
(male/female). After gender selection, the data entry continues automatically with entering the
date of birth, and other numerical data. The
Ok
button is used to advance to the next field. If
the data has been changed, the new values will be displayed, and if it hasn’t the old values
remain. If no value is to be provided, pressing the
Ok
button will advance to the next field.
12.5. Entering the date of birth
Touching the leftmost value of the date of birth field displays the value in inverse colour, and
a numpad is shown on the display.
A value can be entered by pressing the numbers on the numpad. If the value is higher than
allowed, the device will not accept the entry, and it can be deleted using the
Back
button and
the appropriate number(s) can be entered. Pressing the
Ok
button will store the date of birth,
and the next field will become active.
Caution!
The date of birth and the current date (year, month, and day) are displayed in the format
corresponding to the language that is currently selected. This can be set in the
Setup
menu.
12.6. Editing the patient’s gender (Sex)
On the display, either the ♀ or ♂ symbol is visible. Touching the symbol changes its colour
for a moment, and then swaps it for the other symbol. By touching the symbol, the
appropriate gender, male (♂) or female (♀) can be selected.
12.7. Weight, height, blood pressure, HR limits, time/date
The weight, height, blood pressure, HR limits, and time/date fields can be edited similarly to
editing the date of birth. By touching the field, the number will change to its inverse colour,
and the numpad appears. After entering the value, pressing the
Ok
button will store the value.
On the display, the newly set value will be displayed.
