When the counter reaches 0, data acquisition is complete, and after a few seconds the analysis
will be ready.
The stored record and related data can then be viewed as described in section 11.
Managing
stored records
, or monitoring can be resumed.
9.2.3.
Automatic printing after running the program
If the
Prog + Print
option has been enabled for some record type in the printer settings, after
the program has run, printing will start. For example, if the ECG is enabled, then the same
will happen as if the
ECG
button was pressed in the catalogue window, followed by pressing
the
AUTO
print button. The settings (speed, sensitivity) correspond to those set for
monitoring, and the number of leads per group is determined by the settings under
Setup/Printing/Leads
.
After running this program, the time parameters (HR, PQ, QT, QTC, QRS) calculated by the
analysis program and axis position parameters will be printed on the bottom strip of the ECG
printout.
This is a useful printing setting and a factory default setting. Because of the parameter
listings, this is the preferred printing mode over automatic printing.
9.2.4.
Aborting the program
The program can be aborted by pressing the
button, or by pressing the
button one
more time. The program stops, and monitoring mode is resumed.
9.3. Performing a rhythm analysis in the STORE program
If the rhythm period parameter in the storage parameters (
Setup/Store/Rhythm period
) is set
to at least 1 minute, starting the STORE program will also perform an arrhythmia analysis.
The arrhythmia program performs the following functions:
After a short learning period (a few beats) it classifies the QRS complexes into groups
based on rhythm and width. The groups are:
Rhythmic narrow QRS (N)
Rhythmic wide QRS (B)
Rhythmic extra wide QRS (W)
Premature beat narrow QRS (S)
Premature beat wide QRS (E)
Premature beat extra wide QRS (V)
Long beat (L)
On the display and printout, the QRS types are referred to by the letters provided in the
parentheses.
