When this option is disabled an entry/ exit delay is allowed when arming and disarming. This means that
follower zones may be violated and the entry/ exit zone may be opened and closed during the entry and exit
delay times, provided that these zones are clear at the end of the arming time. See location 19 to program
whether arming can be initiated with the entry/ exit zone violated. When enabled, this option allows the
partition to arm or disarm as soon as a user code is entered. See location 1299 for keyswitch arming.

Bypassed zones refer to zones that the panel will ignore during an armed cycle. See the User Manual for
how to bypass zones. If forced arming is enabled (see location 15) it is only necessary to bypass a zone if
it is clear at the time of arming but may be violated during the armed cycle.

Forced arming allows the partition to arm with violated zones e.g. an open window. Once the partition arms,
a violated zone will bypass automatically. If a zone which has been automatically bypassed clears while the
panel is armed, the zone will become active i.e. if the open window is pushed closed, reopening it will cause
an alarm condition to be registered.

The quick arm option allows the user to arm the partition by holding down the
[1]
key until the keypad
beeps. Using the quick arm key initiates an arming cycle as if a valid user code has been entered. User
code 1 will be reported if the quick arm key is used.
