5.6 How to Process a Tip Adjustment

A tip adjustment is performed after the original transaction has been processed.
The customer verifies the base amount of the sale, offers a tip and signs the receipt.
The adjustment transaction is then processed.

Note:
TipAdditionappliestocreditandchargecardsonly.
Theoriginalpurchasemusthavebeenwithoutatip.
Theoriginalpurchasemustnotyethavebeensettled.
