V- Recommendations
1- Security
In order to ensure that software integrity self-test is performed periodically, it is necessary to
restart (disconnect-reconnect) the terminal at least once per day.
This terminal has no power switch. The power supply is the only device used to switch off power
to the terminal. Because of this, the mains power must be easily accessible.

Security guidelines concerning Lithium batteries:
•
Keep out of reach of children,
•
In case of ingestion, seek medical assistance immediately,
•
Pay attention to the `+ ' and`-` polarities,
•
Do not attempt to recharge the batteries by a heat source, electric refill or any means
other than the base station,
•
Do not dispose of batteries in a fire,
•
Do not disassemble the batteries.

Security guidelines concerning Nickel Metallic Hydride (Ni-MH) batteries:
•
keep out of reach of children
•
Do not heat or throw in a fire,
•
Do not short-circuit the batteries,
•
Do not close the security valves (situated under the positive poles),
•
Do not use in a airtight box,
•
Use the adapted charger only in the specified temperature range,
•
Do not manipulate or try to use the battery if it is damaged and/ or leaks any liquid.

•
There is a danger of explosion if the battery is not replaced correctly.
•
Replace the battery with the equivalent type advise by the manufacturer.
•
Dispose of used batteries according to manufacturer's instructions.
