This menu enables you to change the PIN of
your GSM SIM.

POWER SAVE MODE
NORMAL MODE
Select the power mode. Press the
A
key
In this menu you select either power save or
normal mode.
The power save mode powers the GSM
module only when activated during the
authorisation or datacollect phase. This
mode saves power so the terminal can
operate for longer without recharging,
however, the transaction time is a little longer.
In this mode, the terminal will power down
after 50 seconds of inactivity.
In normal mode the GSM module is always
powered up, which results in faster
transactions but the battery will have to be
charged sooner. In this mode after 50s of
inactivity, a choice will appear on the display:
switch off the GSM module or not. As long as
the GSM module is on, the terminal can
receive and manage incoming calls.

In this menu, you can choose whether the
GSM SIM PIN must be entered every time the
terminal is powered on or if the terminal
should use the last PIN code used.

If the message “REFUSED” appears when a function is selected, either the GSM SIM is missing
(or not correctly inserted) or the contract with your network provider does not allow you to change
the parameters you are attempting to alter.
